Strawberries

This morning was strawberry picking with LGSC group. I was just sure that I would never be able to get Jack's attention long enough to do this. I was completely wrong!! He has such a great time eating....and picking the strawberries. Every time he found strawberries on his own he was so excited. It was such a great day. Not to mention the fact that I actually was out and about and catching up with some of the best girls I know.

Jack has also be long seperated from his LGSC buddies and has been having a hard time getting him back into the swing of things but today was I believe the turning point. He held hands with Sophia as we were leaving the patch and actually let Spring pick him up without having a "freak out"! Love it!!!!

Its Been To Long...

So far I am having a hard time keeping up my blog. Now that I am home and stuck in a chair with this cast on my leg I figure now was as good a time as any to start paying more attention to my blog and posting more stuff about Jack and all the things he is doing, and about us, Justin and I too! Hopefully you all won't get to bored reading my rantings about how miserable I am right now and how deciding to have my foot fixed was probably one of the worst decisions I've ever made. Starting tomorrow I will try and start going back and posting all the stuff Jack has been doing this year, like his birthday party and playgroups and such. Thanks for bearing with me.

Sometimes Jack just does cute things. We usually never remember to have the camera handy to capture such moments but once in a while we get lucky and this is what we end up with...

Christmas 2008

Ok, so I am posting this way after the fact. I found some cute pictures still on the camera of Jack from Christmas opening his presents and such and wanted to share them. We spent the holiday with my mom and stepdad, and then ended up going home early because Jack and I both were sick. What a lousy way to spend the holiday. We spent Justin's entire vacation under the weather and didn't get to do anything we wanted to :(

Jack decided to check out the dog crate while we were at my dad's house. I swear, he went in there completely on his own!

Jack also got an inflatable pirate ship from Uncle Jason and Aunt Rissa. He loved it, but we have been hiding it every since because we have no room for it in the house! Justin and Jason just couldn't leave it alone and decided the best thing to do was to blow it up in the living room. So here is Jack and his pirate ship and Uncle Jason.

Jack also made friends with Dymond while he was at mom's.
